We may all be familiar with plastic packaging bottles, but we may overlook plastic bottle caps. The seemingly inconspicuous plastic bottle caps actually have a significant impact. Next, let's follow the editor to understand how plastic bottle caps are made.
Plastic bottle caps are generally made of PP or PE materials, and there are two manufacturing processes: compression molding and injection molding. The compression molding bottle cap has no material mouth marks, making it look more beautiful and has more accurate dimensions.
The process of compression molding
1. First, put the mixed material into the molding machine, heat it to around 170 degrees Celsius in the machine to become semi plasticized, and quantitatively extrude the material into the mold.
2. Then the upper and lower molds are combined and pressed into a bottle cap shape inside the mold.
3. The bottle cap formed by compression molding is left in the upper mold, and the lower mold is removed. The bottle cap passes through a rotating disk, and is removed from the mold counterclockwise according to the internal thread.
4. After the bottle cap is pressed and molded, it rotates on the machine and is cut into anti-theft rings connected to the bottle cap by multiple points at a 3mm edge using a blade.
Common sense of bottle caps
1. There is a small circle under the bottle cap called a disposable cracking anti-theft ring. If you unscrew the cap, the anti-theft ring will fall off and remain on the bottle.
2. There are also many anti slip grooves on the outer edge of the bottle cap, which are convenient for adding friction when opening the cap.
3. The bottle cap can be divided into 28 teeth, 30 teeth, 38 teeth, 44 teeth, 48 teeth, etc. in size.
4. It can be divided into non carbonated beverage bottle caps, sterile bottle caps, and heat-resistant bottle caps based on their usage.
In daily life, the most common plastic packaging bottle covers are pump heads and spray, which are often used in cosmetic bottle industry and washing and nursing industry.
