Common plastic packaging materials for cosmetics include PP, PE, PET, PETG, PMMA, etc. As a packaging procurement personnel, how should we distinguish these materials? Let's take a look at the editor's sharing.
1. Firstly, judging from the appearance, PMMA (acrylic) and PET materials are relatively hard and have a glass bottle texture, but acrylic cannot directly come into contact with the material.
2. PET bottles are usually transparent, PP bottles are usually semi transparent, and opaque ones are mostly PE bottles. In terms of smoothness, PET bottles are the smoothest, followed by PP bottles and then PE bottles.
3. It is also easy to distinguish by looking at the bottom of the bottle. There is a large circular material point at the bottom of the PET bottle, a linear protrusion at the bottom of the PETG bottle, and a smaller circular material point at the bottom of the PP bottle.
PET, PP, and PE are widely used plastic materials. Basically, the commonly used materials for plastic packaging bottles can be determined from the above points. The above is my sharing.
